Logetei Women's Group

Logetei women's socio-economic empowerment group is based in Samburu County, where perennial droughts have devastated livestock and caused severe food shortages. Women used to spend over six hours daily fetching water, causing many children to drop out of school. Now, the community has clean water and women have more time to engage in beading and community savings. Their goal is to create sustainable opportunities for the oppressed women of Samburu County.
