Mutiso Community

Mutiso is a women-led community project in eastern Kenya supporting livelihoods through poultry keeping, farming, and a merry-go-round microfinance system. The community relies on a seasonal dam several kilometers away, forcing women to spend long hours collecting water and increasing health risks. A borehole is providing reliable clean water, improve public health, reduce the burden on women and girls, and strengthen livelihoods for more than 1,600 people.
