Olkinyei are first-hand victims of devastating drought and lack of water for human and livestock use. A majority of the people are nomads so their main economic activity is cattle rearing. With water independence, they are able to rejuvinate their lives by learning about sustainable agriculture and other forms of income-generating projects.
