Watoto Wema Children's Home

Watato Wema is a childrens home for youth in need of rehabilitation services. The center has a holistic approach that includes a school on-site, life skills programs and medical attention programs. They engage in various income-generation activities where the youth lead such as livestock and greenhouses.

"The children's home that I grew up in is loving and caring. It's very appealing and friendly to learn here. The WMO2H project has helped us and the community around us a lot. It has helped with food security and providing vegetables to the community. My favorite thing to do is play football and I would love to train other kids. My dream is to study medicine and business farming. I want to be a community doctor. My hope for the future is to have a better world with less corruption and more green environments."
